Michael Fahey - General Manager

Born in New Zealand, Michael began working life as a civil engineer and relocated to South East Asia in the early 1990s. Originally assigned to project-manage Miskawaan's construction, he took a change of direction and moved into the General Manager's role as soon as the resort was completed. Michael counts local knowledge, his familiarity with the 'nuts & bolts' of Miskawaan and an understanding of the Thai people, culture and language as crucial factors in both his managerial success and the pleasure he gets from living and working on Koh Samui.

Mandeep Singh - Operations and Guest Relations Manager

Born in Vancouver, Canada, Mandeep has worked for a total of seven years at hotels in Canada, the US and the UK, as well as undergoing three years' training in International Hotel Management during time in Switzerland. His day-to-day role involves welcoming guests to Miskawaan along with overseeing the smooth running of all the resort's operations and staffing. He cites the island's lifestyle and its great beaches, food and people as the best things about life on Koh Samui. When it comes to work, he particularly enjoys meeting guests, both old and new, as well as working with a great team of people and gaining superb professional experience.

Victoria Hansen - Sales and Marketing Manager

Swedish-born Victoria combines sales and marketing experience, gained in Spain and the UK, with three years' training in International Hotel Management. She loves Koh Samui's climate, people and incredible natural beauty, while on a professional note she enjoys the warmth and appreciation shown by guests as well as working at such a unique and special property. Her day-to-day role is to promote the resort, explore new business opportunities and work closely with travel agents around the world.

Julie Boehm - Accounts Manager

Julie was born in Australia and has since clocked up an impressive 32 years' experience in various account management positions. Working closely with the resort's main office, her role is to handle Miskawaan's everyday accounts and payments in respect to both clients and travel agents. Julie says "there's simply nothing not to love" about Koh Samui, and in her daily work she especially enjoys collaborating with a great team of people at Miskawaan, along with some fantastic clients and agents.

Maria Panyawan - Reservations Officer

Maria was born in Thailand, educated in Germany and has since accumulated 15 years' experience in the travel and hospitality sector. Today, her role involves liaising directly with guests and agents, dealing with everything from initial enquiries and preparing quotes through to arranging special requests. As well as the climate and people, Maria loves the fact that the island of Koh Samui isn't too large or over-developed. She enjoys the flexibility of her work, and the fact that not having a fixed schedule means she has plenty of time to enjoy the island's many pleasures.

Boonying Sripahdee - Accountant

Thai-born Boonying has been with Miskawaan for nearly two and a half years and has seven years' accounting experience. His day-to-day role involves managing the resort's cash flow by overseeing payments, expenses and revenues. He also prepares reports for the Revenue Department. Sun, sea and sand are Boonying's top three things about living on Koh Samui, while the importance of his day-to-day work to Miskawaan's continuing success is something he particularly enjoys about his job here.

Meenapat Nonluecha - Reservations Officer

Meenapat has worked in the hospitality and travel industry for ten years now, the last three of those years spent here with us at Miskawaan. Her favourite aspects of the Reservations Officer role include meeting such a wide range of guests from all corners of the globe, and being able to contribute to the success of every guest's holiday by helping organise those personal touches that make their stay special. Meenapat loves to hear guests' positive feedback about the resort, and to share in their enthusiasm for Koh Samui as a whole.
